Hallo,

I've got a new MacBook Pro (10.6.6. - Intel Core 2 Duo). With Ubuntu I was =
able to connect to my database via ODBC.
Although the settings are correct, an error occurs.

1: In odbcDriverConnect("DSN=3Dbp2010m1R") :
[RODBC] FEHLER: Status 00000, Code 0, Nachricht [iODBC][Driver Manager]dl=
open(/usr/local/lib/libmyodbc5.so, 6): no suitable image found. Did find:
/usr/local/lib/libmyodbc5.so: mach-o, but wrong architecture

I'm trying to connect via the statistic language R (worked with ubuntu). I'=
ve installed ODBC with the MySQL driver (dmg - Version 64bit).

I really don't know why it doesn't work.

I had the same issue and managed to solve it by installing the 32 bit
version of the ODBC connector.
