Compiling mod_ssl with openssl

If I put openssl in some "other" place like "/usr/local/openssl-0.9.8L" and=
compile Apache with --enable-ssl, how do I tell the Apache configure scrip=
t where the openssl to use is?

Pointers to the right docs are welcome!

--with-ssl=3D/path/to/openssl
