Hello,
I am trying to install MySQL version 4.0 on a Windows 2000 Server =
system. When I double click on setup.exe the wizard starts up, prompts =
me for installation location and type of setup to which I reply by =
taking the defaults.
The installation meters display activity but then I get a message box =
titled 'MySQL Servers and Clients 4.0.20a:_INS5176._MP - Application =
Error'. The message in the message box is 'The instruction at =
"0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be =
"read". At which point I click 'OK' to terminate the program and teh =
setup wizard closes.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
