I am trying to install psqlodbc 8.3.2 on a RedHat EL5 server.
I have postgresql 8.3.3 installed. When I run the configure script for
psqlodbc I get the following error:

checking for library containing SQLGetPrivateProfileString... no
configure: error: unixODBC library "odbcinst" not found

The complete output from the configure is found below. I do have
unixODBC installed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Jon

Did you install unixODBC-devel?

Also, we have psqlodbc binaries for PostgreSQL 8.3.X + RHEL 5 here:

http://yum.pgsqlrpms.org

You don't need to compile from sources.

Hello Jon -
I have the same problem. Did you ever get a workable response
from anyone ?
Thanks,
Joe
