I just installed IIS on my compoter using Windows XP 2005 media center and
tried to go to Admintrator tools IID and get above error message.

unexpected error 0x8ffe2740 occured

I checked with Vendor Acer that they said their system support IIS.

That error message shows when you have something else that is using the port
IIS wants to use. Please see:
