If I need an ISP to use hotmail what is the interest of hotmail, as my ISP
already provides me with an email service ?
I am now with AOL which allows me to connect to my hotmail account. How can
I get freed from AOL ?

If you have email through your ISP, why do you also need a HotMail account?
If you must have the HotMail account, can you not access it through a web
interface?
