I have several hundred thumbnails on several pages in a rather large web
site. Periodically for some unknown reason the link gets broken between the
thumbnail and the full size picture even though I'm not working anywhere near
the affected page(s). How does this happen? Also, when looking at the
hyperlink, it shows as still being connected.

Do you have hyperlinks that cross subwebs / subsites?
