Bookmarks - different question

I have a bit of a different question - regarding bookmarks:

If you go to this page -

http://www.brickwallbuster.com/aobit.htm and click on the name Adams,
Elsie - you are taken to the obit for Mrs. Nellie Fish. Elsie Adams is
mentioned in the obit for Mrs. Nellie Fish.

Question: Is it possible to somehow highlight the name of Elsie Adams in
the obit of Mrs. Nellie Fish, or am I asking the impossible? The reason I
would want to do this is because it's not obvious (to me) that Elsie Adams
is in the obit for Mrs. Nellie Fish.

I am reformatting pages made by someone else, so I am using her method of
indexing. From a researcher's point of view, it's GREAT to have everyone
mentioned in the various obits and marriage announcements in the index, but
from a user's point of view, it's not quickly obvious why we are taken to
someone else's obit.

Thank you,
Brenda

Re: Bookmarks - different question

There is no feature or function within FP to do this.

RE: Bookmarks - different question

You can bookmark the name with the a element so that it shows up at the top
of the page when linked to, but I don't know of a way to highlight it.

Re: Bookmarks - different question

Can be done with a combination of CSS, JavaScript and some work. If
there a more than a half dozen names you may decide it's not worth the
aggravation.

See http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/pages/Brenda-page1.htm which
loads
http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/pages/Brenda-page2.htm with a name
highlighted in a chosen section.

Re: Bookmarks - different question

Ron,

Thank you. There are LOTS of names. I will look at your examples and give
it a try (may have to ask some questions as I proceed.)

I very well may decide it's not worth the aggravation. I do thank you.

Re: Bookmarks - different question

Ron,

Thank you -- that looks like a LOT of work -- far above my abilities at this
point.
