how to gain acces to an old homepage

I have to change a homepage but, that homepage is made with another old
frontpage and another user. Now I have no Idea how to gain acces so that I
can change it. It's driving me crazy. I have premison to change the site so
that's not a problem. Plz can someone help me?

You need to get the username & password from the previous webmaster.

If you can View the site - you can Save the Site, to your Pc,
make the changes and Re-Upload.
though if you have FTP Upload access (password)
I'd have thought you'd have access to the site that way...?
and be able to download the Homepage, change and Upload?

I'd suggest you ask the owner of the domain to contact the hosting
company to reset the username and password.
