FP 2002 Subweb with permissions

As very much a website amateur, I'm trying to create a subweb with
permissions in order to set up a 'subscribers' area' on a site.
I have successfully used the User Registration wizard to allow a user to
register. My next step was to set up a subweb. Once this was done I used
the Adminsitration facilities to set the subweb to have unique permissions.
Everything goes wrong at this stage. I can no longer get any access to the
subweb in any way. I was expecting the existing administrator password to
apply and a logon screen to appear. However I just get 'access denied'.
Can no longer even administer the subweb. When administering using the
facilities of my webhost I see the subweb as having 'permissions' unknown'.

Can u help?

Re: FP 2002 Subweb with permissions

The first thing I would do is contact your host, tell them what happened,
and ask them to reset your account. Then ask them what you should have done
to make it work correctly.

Have you contacted your web host regarding this issue?
