Frontpage to Expression Web

Hello,
I've been using Frontpage since Frontpage 2000 and as such have taken
advatnage of using technology like shared boarders and the navigation
plane.
As such i now have a large web page about 110 page with link under
link.

I would like to Change to Expression web however i am unsure how. The
trainning video i watched showed only how to make a DWT with a few
pages.

Is there anyway to make it easier to link the sites in expression web
like it is in frontpage.

btw my website is www.nationalwelding.com.au

if you see it you'll see i have lots of links and the like and im
unsure if i should try to upgrade to expression web or not.
Regards
Jeff

Re: Frontpage to Expression Web

You have the option of ASP.NET Master pages with the ASP.NET menu control,
as well. There is a one time expense of having to codify all of the links
into a sitemap, but it is fairly easy after that.

Both DWTs and Master Pages are the closest you come to Shared Border type
functionality in EW.

how do you codify the links? is it a program, or does a devloper have
to do it. Also when we add more or take pages off does it have to be
codified again?

Re: Frontpage to Expression Web

I have had some of the same issues both understanding FrontPage 2003 and
Expression Web, however I really think (for now until my experience gets
better) I will keep my FrontPage site I use Expression Web to look for
errors and such for compatibility and accessibility. I still have some
errors but I am starting to like Expression Web the more I use it. It was
like the switch from Win2k to XP and XP to Vista.

Here is the my site link after lots of trials and I am working on the IE6
errors with the margins
So I do understand the change.
Now I need to find a server...lol
