sendmail & AV today (... in the year 2008)

Hi group

We're looking for a new AV solution on our sendmail boxes. I know,
this is an issue well discussed in this newsgroup. But: not yet in the
late 2007 or 2008!

Well, I had a look on some AV-Milters. Witch one is

a) the best commercial AV-filter? --> McAfee and ...
b) the best open source AV-filter? --> I saw for example the AMaViS-
Milters or ClamAV.

And witch are the "investmens into the future"?

I'm not intrested on AS - only AV.

Thanks.

Pascal

AMAVIS, like MIMEDefang, isn't an AV product, it's simply a way of
connecting them (and other tools) to Sendmail.
