how to preview video
Hi,
my O.S. is winxp, sp2, home ed., Frontpage 2000, foxfire, I.E. and
Netscape browsers.
I have placed a video in my web page using this code: <embed
src="turning.wmv" width="320" height="285" align="center"
style="border: 2px solid #808080; "><noembed>A Media Player is
required.</noembed>
when I look at is with the 'Preview' tab on that page, a small dark
window is there with play, stop, rewind, etc. controls but nothing
will play - even after several clicks on the play button.
Also, I placed a different video on that page which played in
'Preview' mode but would not play when previewed from File>Preview in
Browser.
someone suggested I get Flash........will this make any differrence?
thanks in advance for your help........
jim
RE: how to preview video
Well converting the WMV file to Flash would be better of course. But when
you view the page(s) on the web, does it show up?

It has not shown up no matter what method I've tried so far.

Re: how to preview video
I don't think you'd need to get flash just to play a video on your page.
do you have this page in question online so you can show us a link?
I'm sure you can get it running.
