Tables
When I go to Table properties to put a "Background" into the Cell or Table.
the dialog box comes up OK but the "border" function & the "use background
picture" are not Active. This means I can't check the box to browse for the
desired image or background, I have reloaded Frontpage ld be most grateful

Re: Tables
Do you have a theme applied, as these options are not available when using themes.

Thanks for the reply Thomas
No I do not have a Theme applied, I double checked, applied a theme, then
removed it, same result, borders & use a picture are still grey

Re: Tables
In FP2003 - Tools->Page Options - Authoring tab
FP2002 and earlier: Tools->Page Options - compatibility tab
Make sure the Browsers dropdown is set to Custom, and (FP2003) Schema
version is set to IE5.
If Netscape or Navigator is selected table backgrounds will be
unavailable.

Re: Tables
On the FP toolbar, click Tools > Page Options.
Click the Authoring tab, set the Browsers dropdown to Custom.
