My OS is winxp, sp2, home ed. foxfire browser and 2 others for previews.
I finally got FrontPage 2000 to load a .wmv video and it plays with the
'Preview' tab but will not play on any browser in the 'File>Preview in
Browser' option. I have downloaded the Windows Media Player 11 plug-in but
am not sure exactly what to do with it - even with the MS instructions!?
Sure would appreciate any help to get my video to play out there.

Do you have IE and Windows Media Player (not the plug-in) installed?

yes - both and I even downloaded this:
