Password Changing

I am using Front Page 2003. I need to change my password. Whether I'm logged
in to my site, or not, when I go to the Tools menu to make the change,
there's no "Security" item in the drop down list, and, thus, there is no
access to reach the "Change Password" item. How do I change my password?

Re: Password Changing

you have to open your web live with FP and the host has to allow it to be
changed through fp, sometimes you have to change it directly through the
host's control panel not through fp.

Re: Password Changing

I am using Microsoft Front Page extensions, and am advided that I must use
the "Tools" interface, or the installed extensions will become corrupted.
Additionally, if I need my host to change the password what's the point of
the Front Page interface?

Re: Password Changing

Sooo, then open your web "live" and you will have use of the Server Tools
interface - obviously the Server Tools will not be available to you if you
are working on your local copy.

Open FP
File | Open Web
type in the http:// address of your website to open the site "live"
