FrontPage 2003 forms
I am using frontpage 2003 with XP. When I creat a form, the confirmation
page goes to the default of Microsoft first, then when they click the back
button it goes to my custom made confirmation page. I have tried everything
I can think of but it keeps sending to the default confirmation page first.
here is the form page
http://www.awakeningpotentials.com/asktonybrunelle.htm and the custom
confirmation page is http://www.awakeningpotentials.com/asktony2.htm
I have done similiar pages before that did work, but this new page just
won't work.
Thanks to any and everyone who takes pity on me and helps out.

RE: FrontPage 2003 forms
Edit:
The address http://www.awakeningpotentials.com/asktonybrunelle.htm doesn't
seem to take you to the form page. You might have to type in the above url
to make it work. It might be a clue?

Re: FrontPage 2003 forms
Try removing Submitbutton from saved fields in Form Properties > Options.
Submitbutton is not a form field, its the name of the submit button.

Did what you suggested Steve but it made no difference. Thanks for the help
though, nice to know I am not alone.

Re: FrontPage 2003 forms
Tony, the only thing I can think is to remove the form, save the page and then recreate it
and republish it.
Probably faster than trying to sort out the problem.

Re: FrontPage 2003 forms
I have already tried that a couple of times. Even tried installing Front
Page on another computer and redoing it, keep getting the same thing. I
don't think it is my computer, something wrong with the program somewhere.

Re: FrontPage 2003 forms
There are 2 forms on the page. The second form does nothing, but does
expose your email address to spammers.
Remove the second form tags (this will tidy the page, but probably won't
solve the problem.)
The second form surrounds the email/privacy disclaimer and bottom
navigation, and starts:
<form method="POST" action="_vti_bin/shtml.dll/asktonybrunelle.htm"
onsubmit="return FrontPage_Form1_Validator(this)" language="JavaScript"
name=" " webbot-action="--WEBBOT-SELF--">
<!--webbot bot="SaveResults" U-File="_private/form_results.csv"
S-Format="TEXT/CSV" S-Label-Fields="TRUE" B-Reverse-Chronology="FALSE"
S-Email-Format="TEXT/PRE" S-Email-Address="drtonybrunelle [at] example.com"
B-Email-Label-Fields="TRUE" S-Builtin-Fields startspan
U-Confirmation-Url="asktony2.htm" --><input TYPE="hidden"
NAME="VTI-GROUP" VALUE="1"><!--webbot bot="SaveResults" endspan
i-checksum="43406" -->
(email address changed)

Re: FrontPage 2003 forms
Thanks for the tip, didn't realize the second form was even there. I cleaned
up the site but the problem remains. Do appreciate the help.
