Yes, you can't do that in FMP6 - while you probably could in FM7+ - unless
you split the calculation in 3 parts Before, Bold, After, in separate fields
and you add them up by the 'Merge' function [I miss some english words there
: what I mean is show in your layout (in layout mode) : <<Before>> <<Bold>>
<<After>>, and you put the 'Bold' part in bold].
