I am a new and try to install IIS on my computer.

I wet to control panel, arr/remove program and checked IIS. Windows gives me
the successful installation message.

I am unable to access localhost.
I tried control panel administrative tools and Internet Information service

I see Default web site, IIS help folder,s, but I am unable to open nor acess.
I see all the files, but unable to access nor open them.

I see *All Unassigned * on the IP address on default web site

I beleive that the IIS does not setup the correct IP address.

Re: install IIS

Hi,

Yes, your edition should support IIS. Have you checked Add / Remove
Programs, Windows Components and see if IIS is listed? If so, attempt to
install it.

Re: install IIS

Sounds like you have not opened up the HTTP port (80) on the Windows
Firewall, so IIS is installed and running, but the Firewall is
blocking the port from being accessed for security reasons.
