I'm setting up a server with RAID for instant web publishing. Database
will be forms at first and then tech drawings. Looking for fast
response times for web clients. Besides of course a fast internet
connection with static IP, I'm seeking suggestions for server specs and
storage particulars that are desireable. I'm thinking Apple Xserve with
internal SAS drives for best performance. I see external RAID that is
eSATA II connected with SATA hot swap drives inside and also RAID with
Ultra SCSI 320 interface and big cache controller. Got a good budget
here.
