Unix flavor command

Hi guys

Is there a command that lets you know if a certain system is a BSD or
a System V derivative ???

p.s - isn't there a moderator to block all the MI5 junk that's been
plaguing this group???

How would you decide that for current systems with all the merging
paths? See for example the diagram at http://www.levenez.com/unix/

This newsgroup is unmoderated; and it would be a burden for anyone
acting as a "human filter" to do that manually. Though if you abstain
from using that Google web interface to access Usenet and access it
at a newsserver using some Real Newsreader you may not see a single
spam posting here.
