FMP adv 902 on MACOSX 10.4.10 PPC.
I want to deactivatve thois box to activate another.

but when I try, after connexion to FMP's activation server, I've got a
"general activation error 50040".

FMP works very well, but don't deactivate...

If I want to activate the other box, I've the same error...

Does someone know ?

Those of us who communicate regularly with FMI told them activation was
a crappy idea, for exactly this reason, among many others.

Wait until Monday morning after working hours open in the Pacific time
zone, and call FMI support (the call should be free) to get them to
de-activate and straighten out your installation.

Oh, you wanted to *work* this weekend? Too friggin' bad.

If you have it, I recommend you work in FM 8 or 8.5 until Monday, at
which time you can register your dissatisfaction with the whole
activation issue.
