Apache Tomcat 6 with VHOSTS

I was trying to configure tomcat 6 with apache for html and PHP
hosting using virtual hosts. I do not have that much familiarity with
apache or tomcat but thus far I have got our apache server setup with
the virtual hosts and this is working fine.

I have install tomcat 6 and it just doesn't work, I have tried to find
some information online in regards to what needs to be done, but the
information I have found seems to be primarily focussed on tomcat 5.5
and this doesn't really help me. Even apache's documentation itself
seems vague. Makes me realize why Microsoft is doing such a good job
of selling. ;-)

Can anyone direct me to a link or give me some directions on what else
I need to do to configure the tomcat 6 side of things when existing
apache vhosts already exist.

Thanks
