Serious problem with performance in sendmail-8.14.1
100 Outgoing emails, avg. size 2k
sendmail-8.13.8-2: 2 min., 10 sec.
sendmail-8.14.1-4.2: 1 hour, 20 min.
Fedora Core 6, properly configured DNS
mx record lookup takes 0.015 to 0.030 sec. on both
No throttling by ISP, 4-T1 pipe.
Problem appeared after the last sendmail update.

Take this up on the fedora lists, RH butcher so many programs, who knows
what they have done
