Somehow I acidently set a user password, but never entered a
password. Now any file I start will save with a password and I cannot
open it because I never entered a password. I also have changed all
the settings under the define section under file and have changed the
file options. How can I just make it to no longer be password
protected.

Are you using filemaker 7-9?

Try using username: admin and leave the password field blank.
