Red Hat + Brightmail: Getting "Cannot allocate memory" errors.

Has anyone experienced (and hopefully resolved) this issue? A brand
new install of Red Hat/Sendmail/Brightmail immediatly starts
generating memory errors. Brightmail and Sendmail technical support
have not been able to solve as yet.

Dell PowerEdge 2950 16 GB of memory
Red Hat AS4. Update 5
Sendmail 3.3.0
Brightmail 6.0.5
