Symantec Firewall Updates Broken

Ami I the only person who woke up this morning to find that the Symantec
firewall updates I installed yesterday have changed the setting on my
firewall in such a way that I am completely cut off from the internet?

Probably. Most everyone else has uninstalled Symantec.

Funny that I've just put it back on a couple of machines where
ZoneAlarm had caused even bigger problems than I know I could get with
Nortons.....

Using Symantec IS 2003 and current update w/o problems. Win XPPro SP2.
