cgi form to enter record into server hosted database

Hi,

I would like to use a simple cgi form on an ordinary Webpage to let
clients enter basic information, such as Name, contact, services
interested in, etc. Instead of using IWP or CWP, the cgi form should
trigger a new record command (or import script), in the remotely
hosted FM file and dump the field entries into the database as soon as
the user presses "submit".

Right now, I can't think of a good way to trigger FM server to do
this, and I don't want to use a timed scipt that does this
periodically - that would cause a delay.

Please send a hint or suggestion if you have done this, I would
appreciate it.

Thanks, Tom Lassu
