How to simulate an SQL statement in FM 5.5

I need to create a list of Product Names from a filtered view of a Sales
table. The Sales table contains all transactions for Product Names by
Customer and Date. I will be filtering the Sales table and show a specific
Customer for a given Date and making a list or table of Product Names from
the filtered view.

I am using Filemaker 5.5 which does not have an SQL feature that can read FM
tables.

SOunds like you are trying to make a filtered value list based on a
relationship. The ability to do that came along with FMP7 I con't think
it coule be done in earlier versions of FMP.
