how does the SQL link work in a network enviroment
Hi all,
Just testing fm9 on my desktop with the SQL link to an SQL express server on
another desktop machine. first off this works like a charm and opens a lot
of doors.
but I do have one question that I cant answer yet as I don't have a machine
to run server 9 on as a test.
how does the SQL link work on networked machines, do you have to set up the
odbc dns on each machine, or will fm copy this across to each machine, or
set it up once on the fm-Server
Thanks
Craig
