FileMaker 9 announcement pending, according to ThinkSecret
Hi All
earlier this afternoon (6 hours ago) ThinkSecret reports:
July 9 - FileMaker, Apple's wholly-owned subsidiary, is slated to
announce version 9 of its flagship product as early as Tuesday, tipsters
say. The July release date coincides with what sources first told Think
Secret in January. More (3 comments)
Not always on the money I know; who is?

so I read:
Update 7/10/07: The company this morning announced the new product line,
including FileMaker Pro 9, FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced, FileMaker Server 9,
and FileMaker Server 9 Advanced. FileMaker called the new version, which
will ship immediately, "its most dramatic new offering in years."

I'm waiting for my download link to arrive via email so I can test
drive it. I've been eagerly awaiting this release since I had heard it
would include external SQL database support beyond the import function
its had for quite some time. I saw that indeed the rumor was true.
Now I hope to be able to start using FM vs. Access.
