VPN, can't use internet routed through firewall.

I have a few problems with my VPN. My Vonage dies when I VPN in. To
fix this problem I have to restart the firewall. My internet works
fine on both ends.

I can't ping the firewall remotely or use the internet routed through
the firewall. However, I can ping machines on the other side.

Any help would be appreciated.
