Can't Send Email to Hotmail

Hi there,
I have a Sendmail 8.13.1 running on my Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.
There is no problem to send out emails to any recipients except Hotmail
accounts.
While sending an email to any account at hotmail.com, it seems the email
could be sent out, no queue, no bouncing back. But the user at hotmail just
can't see it, even can't see it from the Junk email folder.

Here is /var/log/maillog:
******************************
Mar 29 12:29:52 rheles4 sendmail[17449]: l2TGTp0l017449:
to=someone [at] hotmail.com, ctladdr=root (0/0), delay=00:00:01, xdelay=00:00:00,

<200703291629.l2TGTp0l017449 [at] rheles4.mydomain.com> Queued mail for delivery)
******************************
When I run mailq, the mail queue is empty.

Any idea would be appreciated,
Ross

Your sendmail has handed over responsibility for message delivery to
hotmail.com. According to the relevant RFC *after hotmail accepted*
to take over the responsibility it is their duty to deliver to the
recipient or send bounce message to the envelope sender.

Ask hotmail user you send the message to request explanation
from hotmail's postmaster with experts from your log files included.
It removes "it was spam" explanation by proving proof that the message
was wanted *by the recipient*.

BTW Hotmail.com is listed by RFC-Ignorant org in postmaster and abuse
sections. I would not expect too much.

I know from experience that Hotmail might very well have classified it as
spam and silently dropped it.

Hotmail will likely suggest visiting their "postmaster" website, where you
can apply for and receive an account to view some limited statistics on
your site and its current spam score. If your site goes over a certain
score (as measured by spamtrap addresses and the like) you'll get blackholed
temporarily (I think they might also factor in customer complaints into the
score). They'll also likely suggest you enter into some kind of Bonded Sender
program.

In all cases, don't expect them to labour much on your part. You'll probably
be pointed at the postmaster.live.com site with an implicit "Go away".

Why don't they reject the message with the appropriate 5xx code?

because they are micro$lop, a world unto themselves, they did not write
the RFCs so they think they dont have to observe them.

Because they decided to /dev/null instead of playing by *RFC rules*.

BTW hotmali.com is listed by RFC-Ignorant.org:
http://rfc-ignorant.org/tools/lookup.php?domain=hotmail.com
lacklist_zone domain status Submitted Added Rejected Removed
postmaster Listed Nov 1, 2002 20:50 EST
abuse Listed Aug 12, 2005 5:12 EDT

Is it required to state *directly* who owns hotmail.com?
