css and explorer
I am at the early stage of designing a webpage and decided to use css in
design. I am using firefox and php and mysql. The site displays
properly. I then thought that I should try internet explorer and see if
it works using that browser. Nothing works, I thought that internet
explorer supported css. The basic design is a top title left navigation
bar and a content showing the page. This has a scroll bar in it. Is
there a work around or have I got to redesign page to make it work with
explorer.
Thanks for any advice

take a look at so-called css-hacks .. e.g. here [1]
it takes a little work to get the same display result with all browsers,
but once you know how to use these hacks, it becomes really easy ;)

Ask the question on comp.infosystems.www.authoring.stylesheets.
And provide an URL, they hate to use their crystal balls to figure your
problem out.
