Jerrata Backbone PHP Operating System

Jerrata Backbone (http://backbone.jerrata.com/) is a PHP-based
operating system. Backbone resides as a collection of PHP5 files on a
web server, invoked by stub code activated on a webpage access.

1) Site administrators install PHP applications, populating a program
pool.

2) On activation, Backbone selects from this program pool those
applications to handle the user's request. The user request is handled
when a webpage is outputted to the user's browser.

3) Site administrators define which applications will run, and in what
order Backbone executes those programs, through an online, graphical
environment.

4) Backbone exposes over 20 APIs, giving PHP application developers
access to a range of pre-debugged objects.

You'll learn how to receive a 10% discount on Waterproof's PHPEdit
development environment when you order a no-risk trial of Backbone and
a 20% discount on CoffeeCup website design software when you purchase
a Backbone license.

Looking for a challenge? Use your wit and PHP programming expertise to
Break Backbone---that is, have the system think your (foreign) code is
a genuine component in assigning it a security key---and win $25
payable via Paypal. (http://backbone.jerrata.com/break-backbone-and-
win-25/)

Use Backbone to power your website without worry of license
expiration. Once you've licensed Backbone, you've licensed for life.

$25 to test your code? That's hardly a fair pay for people testing your
security, and doesn't show that much confidence. Then again, maybe some
sucker will fall for it.
