Hi:

Yesterday I installed MAMP which uses mysql 5.0.19. I tried to import my
data which was an excel file that I converted to a .csv file using excel.

I keep getting error in saying "impossible to create or read this database
when I choose and access database file.
Can this tool help me convert and excel file or is there such a tool.

Dortha,

Try WinSQL at (http://synametrics.com/winsql). It can move data from
Excel to MySQL or any other target. You need to create an ODBC DSN for
Excel, run a SELECT statement against it and export the results to MySQL
