Hi all,



I have tried to create a new dsn by using the following code in a command
line :



myodbcinstaller -s -a -c2 -n "test" -t "DRIVER=MySQL Connector/ODBC
v5;DATABASE=;UID=root;PWD=mypwd;PORT=3307"



but I always received the same error: [ODBC_ERROR_INVALID_DSN][9] Invalid
datasource



I don't known what is wrong with this.



Can someone help me?

Shouldn't you have a database name after "DATABASE=3D"?

Well, I need a dsn to create an access to 5 databases.

Using the code myodbcinstaller -s -a -c2 -n "test" -t "DRIVER=MySQL
Connector/ODBC v5;UID=root;PWD=mypwd;PORT=3307" is the same as using
myodbcinstaller -s -a -c2 -n "test" -t "DRIVER=MySQL Connector/ODBC
v5;DATABASE=;UID=root;PWD=mypwd;PORT=3307"

The error is the same in both cases.
