crimson editor because of it's ability to do columnar editing which makes
formatting code (like in-line sql statements, etc.) very easy and quick to
do. it has all the other features of other ide's except code folding and
intellisense/autocomplete. it is also free.
zend has a bitch'n ide...but is not free by any stretch of imagination. and,
as for the rest...i haven't found any that i like as much as the former.

You have eclipse, you have plug-ins that gives you support for PHP, the good
thing with it is that you can run it on microsoft, Linux and OSX, so if you
one day switch to a new OS, you don't have to learn a new IDE, but keep on
using it.
If you pick up something else say Python, Perl, C/C++ or so on, you don't have
to switch to a new IDE either, just add the plug-in for that language and you
have full support for it too.
Steve, didn't want to reply on "PING: Anyone who's good with Linux...or at
least Postfix", we have feed the troll all to much, it will be difficult to
find a worse one, but wouldn't be surprised if there is one worse than OMH and
I knew from his first reply that he had bad issues. Think I'll filter him away
in the future.
