I have a very difficult for me problem.I am a single user of my house
computer which runs under windows xp professional.I have installed IIS,but
when I enter Internet Explorer, write localhost I receive error HTTP 401.1
unauthorized ccess .
How can I solve it?
Re: IIS
401.1 = Logon Failed.
Can you look in the Windows Event Log (located in your Administrative Tools
folder) to see if there are any relevant events?
Cheers

Re: IIS
Unfortunately in computer laboratory the workers revealed very serious
hardware problems, but yet they do't know the source of the problem. After I
exchange the suitable details of the hardware and install windowsXP
Professional,I will install Visual Studio.NET 2003 and by myself I will not
can to install msdn samples of the visual studio.net 2003 so that internet
programming applications will work.
So please help me.

Hi,
Can you look in the Windows Event Log (located in your Administrative Tools
folder) to see if there are any relevant events?
