Thank you Open Source Mail Community

This is a general thank you to everyone who contributes to projects
such as SpamAssassin, any RBL, and the dcc/razor/pyzor and other hash
sites.

I am a typical harried admin with the workload of 3 and a budget of $0.

I have a VMWare instance running Fedora Core 5, Postfix, Postgrey,
Amavisd, Spamassassin, Clamav, using RBLs galore and pyzor/razor/dcc.

I have my users down from 200 spam per day to about 5 per day. They
don't bitch, I don't chase viri, the email server doesn't choke on the
load.

I cannot attest personally to the efficiency of clamav, since I run a
commercial, multi-vendor antivirus solution on the exchange server
itself. However, I am receiving only 1/10 the amount of virus emails
after installing this filter setup.

Even my T1 usage dropped 18% after installing the filters. I have
postfix using 2 RBLs, then postgrey, even before letting any email
through.

Thank you all!

- a very busy admin
