pretty much as subject. i want to be able to add a search box to a site that
can read a mysql database for pages on the site only, and have the spider
run by say cron but have access to a subscriber only section to read the
first few words.
i did find http://www.cs.ioc.ee/~ando/sphider/ but it cannot access
protected directories.
there is only 1 .htaccess protected directory.
