Socket Error on 3900 consecutive inserts

Hi,



Am porting data from Interbase to mySQL (version 5.0.18) and getting a #2740
socket error whenever I try and do more than 3900 (aprox.) consecutive
inserts.



Is there something in my.ini that I need to set to handle this?
