IIS Service Unavailable

am 21.02.2006 10:19:30 von Marina

Hi,
I am getting the following error on Windows Server 2003 SP1 machine.
Record of Event Viewer

1: Date: 21.02.2006 Source: W3SVC Event ID: 1002
Type: Error Time: 09:54:41
Application pool 'DefaultAppPool' is being automatically disabled due to a
series of
failures in the process(es) serving that application pool.

2: Date: 21.02.2006 Source: W3SVC Event ID: 1002
Type: Warning Time: 09:54:41
A process serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' terminated unexpectedly.
The process id was '1032'. The process exit code was '0xffffffff'.

3: Date: 21.02.2006 Source: DCOM Event ID: 100016
Type: Error Time: 09:54:41
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation
permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{A9E69610-B80D-11D0-B9B9-00A0C922E750}
to the user NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE SID (S-1-5-20). This security
permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

All services are running but I am geting the 'Service Unavailable'
message. Restarting IIS does not help as it shuts down the services again.
I just installed Win server 2003 SP1 and SQL server 2000 and Reporting
Services for SQL Server 2000.

i have been done all accorting to this artical
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=842493 and

"Network Service" and "IWAM_MACHINE" are members of IIS_WPG group.
NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users" and "NT AUTHORITY\Interactive" are part of
the "Users" group.

Any light to resolve this issue would be highly appreciated.

This {A9E69610-B80D-11D0-B9B9-00A0C922E750} is referring to the IIS Admin
Service, make sure that the IIS_WPG group has Launch permissons in
Component Services. You can find this under DCOM Config in Component
Services. Find the IISAdmin service, right-click and choose Properities...
Security tab... under Launch and Activation Permissions, choose Edit. Add
the IIS_WPG group here.

Hope this helps
