I have installed 5.0.16 on NT4 server and Service is running. I also =
installed the latest Administrator, QueryBrowser and MigrationTool. All =
3 utilities fail to start because procedure 'GetFileSizeEx' is not found =
in kernel32.dll (there is a 'GetFileSize' but no 'GetFileSizeEx'). There =
may be additional problems with NT4, but this one halted startup so I =
don't know. Out of curiosity I checked the kernel32.dll from XP Pro and =
found it contains both 'GetFileSize' and 'GetFileSizeEx' procedures.
I chose version 5 to try the MigrationTool from MS Access. (upgrading =
the NT4 is not an option at this point) I couldn't find anything =
indicating that the utilities are not supposed to work on NT4. Does =
anyone know whether they are supposed to operate on NT4? - And if the =
utilities don't work, is the server itself likely to run into problems?
