I am running into this random charset error with my ColdFusion
application, which I have setup using MyODBC 3.5.11.
"ODBC Connector/libmysql cause corruption of the MySQL charset data."

Will there be a new release of MyODBC anytime soon that fixes this
problem?
I am guessing it must not affect everyone, because this problem has
existed since November 2004 according to the first bug report. Maybe
there is something I can do to get around it then?
