A weird thing is happening in my MYSQL server 4.1 version. After few days the user privileges like select, etc for a particular user on a particular database gets lost. Just now the solution I am using is giving whatever required privileges back to the user, but again this isn't an efficient way and also I am tired of doing this again and again and again. I don't know what part of authentication module is bugy. I am accession mysql through command line, MYSQLCC or a tool named Dbvisualizer. I have no idea which one is doing this (if at all it is responsible).
Any clues will be highly ^highly appreciated</P>

Is it 4.1.0 ?
Then it's a known bug that is already fixed in the development tree.
Bugfix will be available in 4.1.1
