Hello,
I've downloaded MySQL 4.1 on my win xp pc. While configuring it , at the last stage, I get an error that "service could not be started .Error:0".
Plz help me out.

Service already running? Previous MySQL installation? Failed install
before? Another service using port 3306? Do you have admin privileges?
Try running the service from the service manager.

hi,
open services management screen, and shutdown the MYSQL service.
Then remove the previous mysql installation from start ->control panel ...

then reinstall
