Hi,

I need some clear information on "Establishing a Remote MySQL
Connection to System A from System B".

Here System B is installed with Complete MySQL DB on Linux.

System A is installed with Cognos (Client) on Unix.

I need to establish the connection from my System A, Client (Cognos)
to System B, Server (MySQL DB Server).

Do I need to install only MyODBC for Unix on my Client Machine
(System A) or I have to install complete MySQL DB.

Please give me the steps for establishing the connection.
