Hi,
I recently installed MyODBC 3.51.10 on my server. Why the hell it tries
to connect to localhost although I've set the host on the config tab?

Before I upgraded to 3.51.10 I've used the 06 release (3.51.06). When I
updated to .10 I havn't had changed anything on my DSN configuration
which works fine all the time. But when I upgraded all DSN would connect
to localhost instead of connecting to that host set on the configuration
tab.

I think you will find that it works ok with 3.51.10-2 but I would hold
off on upgrading to it until we get a bug fixed in. The bug fix will be
done soon after I get done with my email and then I will publish on
www.mysql.com.
I will double-check that this issue has been fixed before making this
release.
Thanks and sorry for the trouble.
