How to disable passwords

Hello All,

I understand there's a function to disable passwords. I need this for a per
l process that's failing.

I'm new to mysql and I'm searching the manual to find how to do this. But i
ts a big manual so, if someone can tell me how, or where to look in the manu
al - it would be a big help.

Thank you,

Ben

If so, the most simple thing is possibly to reinstall MySQL: By default
it comes without passwords. You can add passwords later.

Re: How to disable passwords

"mysqlaccess --copy" might work.

This is quoted from the man page...

--copy reload temporary grant-tables from original ones
